The plot of The Devil Is a Part-Timer revolves around the demon lord Satan who seeks to conquer the world of Ente Isla.
They killed Malacoda and Adramalech after being confronted by the hero Emilia. Through a gate to modern Tokyo, Japan, Satan, and Alceil escape the world of Ente Isla. However, both Satan and Alciel change into forms representing what they would like if they were in the modern contemporary world.
Satan took a part-time job in McDonald’s restaurant while Alciel acted as his houseman to survive. Once, Satan met a girl who is actually Emilia in the form of Emi Yusa. Further, in the anime series, there is some exploration of the personalities of each of the characters and their moral values.
