Quintessential Quintuplets season 2, also known as 5-Tōbun no Hanayome, is an anime television series based on Shonen manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruna. However, the second season of the Quintessential Quintuplets is styled as The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬. Under the Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership, the anime series is licensed in North America.
On 5 May 2019, the second season was announced in a special event. As the director of the series, Kaori is replacing Satoshi Kuwabara. One more thing, Keiichirō Ōchi is returning to write the scripts. And talking about the animation, in the second season Bibury Animation instead of Tezuka Productions taking control. However, in October 2020, the season initially premiered. But the date got delayed to 26 March 2021 due to issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is the plot of Quintessential Quintuplets season 2?
The story of this television series is all about a high paying tutor, Futaro Uesugi. He was a high paying tutor all because of his excellent academic performance. Through his superb knowledge of education, he has a very dark past.
He has seen himself involved in many knowledge and learning-related activities. After his mom died, Futaro was living a difficult life. Moreover, he doesn’t have friends to share his feelings and struggles with.
And over that, his father has incurred a large number of debts. But all over the odds, Futaro decided to overcome his struggle with the power of his knowledge. However, time changes and opportunity knocks at his door when the wealthy Nukano family transfers to his school.
Quintuplets parents found Futaro as one of the best teachers for their kids and gave him a massive sum of money for home tuition. But Futaro feels that their kids have no interest in studies.
The kids used to see Futaro as a stranger and even disrespected him, and they made his condition worse by going against him. With time, Futaro’s patience and attitude change things and set him on the right path.
Then he starts creating a special relationship with each Quintuplet. He makes their academics easier than before by making them score good marks. Later, Futaro gets attracted to one of the Quintuplets and decides to marry her.
He was trying to begin a new life with a new family member. Due to his attitude and knowledge, his economic situation and lifestyle changes.
