Haikyuu is a Japanese manga anime series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story of the Haikyuu follows the life of a young boy who is determined to become a great volleyball player.

From February 2012 to July 2020, the series was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, with its chapters collected in forty-five tankobon volumes. And from April 2014 to September 2014, an anime television series adaptation by Production IG aired with 25 episodes.

Both manga and anime series got a massive engagement and met with a positive response. In 2017, Haikyuu manga received the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for the best Shonen manga. As I mentioned before, it also had over 50 million copies in circulation.

The plot of Haikyuu

The plot of Haikyuu is all about a junior high school student, Shoyo Hinata, who is obsessed with volleyball after getting recognition from Karasuno High School playing in Nationals. Hinata got inspired by a player nicknamed The Little Giant.

He is athletic and has an impressive vertical jump. Hinata decided to join his school’s volleyball club and spend the next two years convincing other students.

Some of Hinata’s friends agreed to join the club and competed in a tournament in junior high school’s third and final year. However, they faced a crushing defeat in their first official game ever. But a third-year Tobio Kageyama, a prodigy setter nicknamed The King of the Court, favored the team to win the tournament.

When Hinata vowed to defeat Kageyama in High school, Karasuno accepted Hinata for his studies. But there is also shocking news that Kangeyama also chose to attend the Karasuno.

As a powerhouse school, Karasuno revealed to have lost its reputation following the little Giant era and is often referred to as The Wingless Crows. However, the duo creates an explosive new volleyball tactic and develops an unexpected but powerful setter spiker partnership by combining Kageyama’s genius setting skills.

What will be the predictable plot for Haikyuu season 5?

The anime fans are expecting an exciting storyline of the fifth season of Haikyuu. We are hoping that the upcoming season will be full of drama and action. We can say that the fifth season will be excellent for anime fans. It will not refer to anything from season 4 and could take a twist in the storyline.

However, the story of the upcoming season will be all about the big matches which could occur between Karasuno High and Nekoma High. Probably, it would be about the life of Hinata.

He will be experiencing new things in high school. It would be like Hinata chasing volleyball to meet the requirements needed to qualify for nationals. However, season 4 ends on a cliffhanger, and audiences are really upset and affected.

He was really disappointed and was falling to score points for the team in consequent matches. After the release of season 5 of Haikyuu, the audience will get to see a pretty different side of the plot.
